Why play at Paddy Power Poker?
Paddy Power is a name you can trust and its poker arm is no exception. Part of the popular IPoker network (meaning good player traffic), with some of the best customer service you'll find in online gaming, this is a site you'll definitely want to be checking out. They also have a very attractive player reward scheme which pays out cash bonuses, along with one of the biggest welcome bonuses in online poker right now - a huge $2000.
And as you'd expect from what is a household name in the gaming industry, their customer service is second to none (you can email or telephone them at any time of the day or night).
Paddy Power software
Paddy Power uses the popular and robust Playtech Poker software. It's a well designed poker lobby so you can find your preferred game quickly and start playing. Whilst playing, you can make notes on other players but also colour code them, which is a great feature.
Multi-tabling is available via tiling or cascading your open tables and can be done with just one click.
The Paddy Power software is well suited to multi-tabling as everything still renders will even if you adjust the table size to the minimum possible.

Paddy Power games
Paddy Power offers a great range of poker games - Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Stud and Razz. There's a nice range of stakes catered for - with the cash games you can play anywhere from £0.01/£0.02 to £50/£100. Sit n Go poker players are well catered for on Paddy Power, with buyins from $0.24 to $5200, including the popular 'Double Up' format.
Remember that as well as poker, Paddy Power is a great all round gaming brand and offers a casino, sports betting, bingo and lotteries too. It's one of the biggest European gaming names and has a great reputation with good reason.
Paddy Power welcome bonus
Paddy Power has a ludicrously generous first time deposit poker bonus going right now. They'll match 200% of what you deposit, up to a maximum of $2000. This makes it one of the top poker bonuses available online.
How do you earn earn the bonus? So to get that amazing bonus, you need to download the software using the link below, then start playing real money poker. Every time you play, you'll earn 'Paddy Points' (player points). Every time you earn 600 points, you'll earn $10 of your bonus. Obviously the more poker you player (and the higher the stake you're playing) the faster that poker bonus will pay out. Not only that but you can get entry into First Time Depositor's Freeroll tournaments, which is a great offer.
Poker bonuses such as these are great ways of building up an online bankroll and it's always nice to be paid to play poker!
Paddy Power player reward/loyalty scheme
Paddy Power's reward scheme is called the VIP Programme. So here's how it works - whenever you play poker (for real money) on PP, you'll earn 'Paddy Points'. The more of these Points that you earn in a month, the higher your VIP status will be, from 'Private' to 'Chief of Staff'.
The higher statuses come with an automatic cash bonus of between $50 and $800.
Now, once you've accrued some Paddy Points it's time to reap the rewards. You have two choices - either exchange them for cash, or for tournament entries (which includes live events as well as online ones).
So for example, 2000 Paddy Points would 'buy' you a $10 bonus; 16,000 would buy you a €225 Irish Open satellite buy-in, and so on.
How many Paddy Points you earn is all down to you, how much poker you're going to play and the stakes you'll play at. For SNG and MTT games, each $1 of tournament fee earns 20 Points. For cash games it depends on the rake but Points awarded will vary between 0.09 and 29 per hand.
*Update* - you can also now use their player VIP Store to buy a range of items with your Points, including electronics and poker related items. Not only that but Paddy Power now offers milestone bonuses, which give out rewards from hoodies to iPads and more for achieving certain number of Points. Or you can still 'buy' bonuses, tournament entries and so on.
Paddy Power player traffic
Traffic at Paddy Power is good as it's part of the very popular IPoker network. This means poker players from across the network are 'pooled' which means excellent player traffic.
The iPoker network is the third busiest in the world so you can be sure of busy games at any time of the day or night.
