Why play at Kingdom of Poker?
Kingdom of Poker is quite a newcomer to the online poker community, having launched in 2011. It's specifically aimed at Asian poker players and markets itself as "Asia's Poker Room". As well as offering online poker it has games designed to appeal to this market including Mahjong and Chinese Poker.
We've been extremely impressed so far - this is an independent poker room with its own software, an excellent dedicated customer service team and an awesome welcome bonus. You can expect this room to grow and grow during 2012 and become a true force in online poker. It's loyal player base is growing by the day and we predict this site is going to be huge by the end of the year!
Kingdom of Poker software
Kingdom of Poker has its own proprietary software which is a superb poker client and has been very well designed. It features an intuitive poker lobby which is easy to navigate. Gameplay on this site is also fantastic with smooth graphics.
You can choose from three different 'views' which dictate how the software looks whilst you're playing it - 'default', 'humanoid' or 'avatar' - you can see how these look in our screenshots below.
Not only can you play normally on your desktop PC or laptop but you can also play using your Android mobile device.

Kingdom of Poker games
Kingdom of Poker offers Texas Hold'em (pot, fixed and no limit), Omaha (pot limit), Chinese Poker and Mahjong. There is a good variety of stakes available which will appeal regardless of whether you enjoy low or high stakes poker action.
If you would like to try out the games before making a deposit there is also the option to use the Play Money games.
Kingdom of Poker player reward/loyalty scheme
The Kingdom of Poker reward scheme is wonderfully simple - you earn Kingdom Points by playing real money poker on the site. Once you've earned enough of these you can use them towards tournament entries or other prizes. The higher the stakes you play, the more points you earn!
A great feature of their scheme is the Points never expire.
Kingdom of Poker pro players
They've already attracted some seriously excellent players to their poker room, and they now include John Van Fleet, Andrew Chen, Simon Charette, Joe Tehan and Alex Fitzgerald. As KoP continues to grow we expect to see yet more big names attracted to this fantastic new poker room.
Kingdom of Poker welcome bonus
KoP offer a very attractive welcome bonus for new players. They will match your deposit by 100% up to a maximum of $1000. This is a fantastic offer and we'd suggest taking it up whilst it's still around and the site is new.
How do you earn the bonus? To claim this very generous bonus, you need to earn 13 Kingdom Points per dollar you deposited to earn each dollar of bonus. A great feature is that you have up to three months to earn the Points required. If you don't rake through enough points to claim the whole bonus, the remainder is forfeited. The bonus itself is paid out in increments of 1% to your Kingdom of Poker account.
Kingdom of Poker player traffic
At the moment, as Kingdom of Poker is still a relatively new poker room, the traffic is quite slow, especially during the day time. However there's enough action happening to make it worthwhile and during 2012 we can expect this site to flourish as it attracts more and more players.
